Hi, my name is Amy Pirnie. I have been studying Muay Thai since I was 12 years old. In my time in the sport I’ve packed a lot in, I had a healthy and successful junior career including 4 British titles and 3 Gold medals at the IFMA world games. Progressing into my pro career at 16 I’ve now had 20 fights with the majority being fought under full A class rules, my record is 16 wins 3 losses and 1 draw. I am current UK#1 at -50kg, WBC International champion and ISKA World champion. I am still an active Muay Thai fighter and have an exciting future ahead of me.
In my short 13 years in the sport I have acquired a lot of skills in Muay Thai. I am looking to pass on my knowledge of the sport and the health benefits it provides onto everyone who has an interest in sport.
I have coached a variety of individuals, from children as young as 7 who has recently won 2 world titles, to adults close to 60 years old who wants to get fit but have fun while working towards his goal. I have worked with individuals, groups and been carrying out some seminars up and down the country.
Other than Muay Thai background, I am a degree qualified Sports Therapist. This helps me in coaching with my understanding of anatomy, how the body functions and injury prevention. All aiding in the process of getting fighting fit.
